Next to exhaust, I think wheels are the best upgrade. Good choice they rock!

The pictures below were taken by Hogpro when they finished the installation of my new wheels today. Rob at Hogpro emailed the pictures to me at work so I could see my "new" bike before I came to pick it up. I just got home a little while ago from picking up my bike, and I couldn't be happier with how the bew wheels and Metzler tires look. Frankly, I agonized for weeks over what style wheels I wanted and what size. The size issue was the most difficult. I liked the looks of the 21" front wheel better because it shows off the wheel more than the 18" wheel; but I didn't want to sacrifice ride quality or handling. I spent a lot of time reading posts on this forum and others to determine which way to go. But most importantly, I spent a considerable amount of time speaking and emailing with Phil and Rob at Hogpro. They were great in talking through the pros and cons or the different sizes, and their experience with rideability. Rob also spent a lot of time explaining the advantages of two-piece rotors, and which 18" wheels look better with rotors than others. The pictures really don't do the wheels justice. The chrome absolutely pops. And the ride and handling was at least as good if not better than it was with my stock tires and wheels. If anyone is struggling like I did over 18" vs 21" wheels, I can assure you that the looks of the 18" wheels and tires are a dramatic improvement over my wire spoke wheels which weren't too shabby to begin with. The customer service at Hogpro is first rate; and their prices extremely competitive. If you are thinking about new wheels, I strongly urge you to give Phil or Rob a call or send them an email. They'll be happy to help you, even if you buy elsewhere--but I doubt you will.
