DAWG,
thanks! ever had one of these apart? It appears to me that a nut (#8) is holding a dog ear tab (#19) spring-loaded on the key barrel (#13) although I dont see the spring in the schematic. The dog ear tab has two indents on it. What I dont know is:
1) how to position dog ear tab correctly so it locks correctly;
2) should the nut (#8) be snugged completely tight or left a "little" loose.
Seems if I snug up the nut then the lock will not turn the tab. Plan to examine the other side bag tonight to see if I can figure out the positioning of the tab.
Would take it to the Dealer but I dont want the "Sorry sir, that scratch was already there." scenario played out with me.
