Default Making air breather/cleaner comparision

I've got an H-D Stage 1 air breather on my '09 Ultra Classic. I recently installed a Willie G AC Trim and would like to replace the cast aluminum Stage 1 back-plate with one that looks better.

I want to keep the Stage 1 air breather filter for now. Is there anything special about any back-plate only that will affect the performance of an otherwise stock engine?

The Doherty Powerpacc is a nice looking billet aluminum back-plate but for the difference in cost compared to a 29624-08 chrome H-D back-plate, is there any other differences?

Doherty Powerpacc will give you A LIL more performance but not that much that you will really notice.

I replaced my SE A/C with a Doherty power pacc and got 0 boost in performance on the dyno or seat of the pants. It was a nice piece of billet but not worth the extra money to me. I was also left less then satisfied with thier customer service.
