I've been having the same issue. Did you find a cure? Mine is going in to the dealer next week to have the issue checked out. Would like to have a sense of direction, just in case.
Thanks.

The left side of my handlebar shakes too! It gets annoying when I take my hand off and I can hear the lever shaking? Am I going to take it to the dealer? No. I'm going to keep on riding and not givin' a $hit about it.

Dc1057;
After the the 1K service at the dealer the left handlebar was much smoother but still vibrates. that was 1700 mikes ago. I am taking it to another dealer tomorrow to address some unwanted decel pops and I will ask them about the clutch lever. To me it looks like too much free-play where the clutch lever connects. Meaning if where the lever connects to the handlebar was a little thicker or the clutch line was a little tighter, it would pretty much eliminate it.

I guess I mis understood your first post. I thought your handlebars were vibrating so much your clutch lever was making noise? The handlebar vibration is the issue with mine. That's the cause of the squealing noise when I let go of them.
Did you ever get a response to that concern from the dealer?

I'd be interested in the solution, too. I have 2006 street glide that vibrates like a mad man. Left side is very noticeable.

Yeah I'd like to know what causes that!

DC;
Sorry about the confusing post, I went and cleaned the post up a bit. Yes, the 1st dealer said that it is OK . I am taking it to another dealer tomorrow to have them check the popping of the pipes and I will ask them about the left handlebar as well.

Have you guys checked your front motor mount? Every time I start to get excessive vibration it turn out to be the motor mount.

Still trying to get it in order. Another issue may be clutch adjustment. I'm fighting that right now as well.
I think Bithand1 hit it on the head.....
