Get the spacing right on the wheels. That sounds dangerous. I would also check the steering head bearings, and last but not least, motor mounts. Check to make sure they are both tight, and that the rubber is not cracked (youll prob have to look at them from both the top and the underside of the mounts).

RE: Hi Speed Wobble
I put the bike up on the jack yesterday and checked out the front mount, thats ok. I did rotate the front wheel and did get a squeek at one spot in the rotor and more effort to rotate. Though I dont feel any pulsation when stopping.
I checked out the polished S/S floating rotors on Ebay yesterday. Whole setup is around $300, are floaters worth the extra money? Non-floating polished S/S would save me about $100.
Yes I need to resolve my rear axle issue asap! The axle nut is on the left (shifter) side of the bike. I'm going to pop the bags off and snap a few pics.
I need to get hold of a dial indicator and check end play. I put my knee into the fork and pushed & pulled on the front wheel and felt no lateral movment. Seems like if it were more than .010 you would feel it.
While on the jack checking the "swing back" of the forks it goes from far left to just past center to the right.
It doesnt go three times and center like the book says. I didd'nt remove anything to check this out. I did grease the neck and it took a good bit of grease, you could hear it fill up.
As for the rear shocks, I cant remember if we added air or just checked the pressure, but oil did come out.
One of the previous owners did tow a trailer, and the rear end was lowered then returned to stock at one point. There are new stock take off shocks on e-bay all the time for around $50.00 a set.
Can you give me some info on the progressive 440's. Where to get, how much?
Thanks again for the input.
