Key features to get are:
Low pressure
"No-loss" connector
Precision bleeding

Any hand pump with those features will be suitable for shocks.

also try bike shops, they have them for the shocks on mountain bikes... I had the HD pump, which I lost, actually I think I threw it away by accident, but thats my idiototic fault... 50 is a lil steep for what the thing does...

and get a pump for air forks. They're half the price of HD pumps and in most cases are the very same.

i'm happy with the harley pump. it is durable and works great. a zero loss connection is nice too, along with being able to bleed off a few lbs of air when you take the pressure a bit too high. the harley one doesn't work quite like a bicycle tire pump. it pushes small volumes of air, and sounds like psssst, with each stroke.

Mine says ,"pssst" and then I think it is saying, ya gave too much for me didntja?
Yea Harleys version works great, still a little spendy even with the 10% discount offered that day. But damit I was determined to get the pressure adjusted correct and right now. The air compressor in the garage and squeezing the hose to slow down the air wasn't working too good then checking the pressure with the tire gauge was emptying the shock with just one pressure check.
I admit I got a little redneck to me but that air in air out method was gettin old very fast.

I must be the only one who has a bum cheapie (bought from Chopperscycle ebay store)

It has leaked a bit since I got it.
I can still use it, and I needed it badly so I didn't return it.

But if I was to do it again, I'd buy one locally so I could return it if it leaked.

Cheers
