I think break-in on the dyno is the best way to do it. You can control more variables that way. Plus driving like a grandma the first 1,000 miles is no fun

I don't see why you can't use a canned map from F.M. for the first 1000 miles. You sure would think that there can't be that much of a difference between your build and the bunch of others already in the database. I can see why a lot of places decide to dyno after the breakin rather than breaking them in on the dyno. Can you say "liability"?

There is really no reason to drive like a granny, the lower end is already broke in; the rings need to seat and there may be some wear in piston to cylinder, but after the first hundred or so I would ride as usual.

It had a canned map from fuel . Ole boy said it ran way
Lean I called bullshit on that told him to call Jamie he said he would not call anyone he new what he was doing. The guy that owns the place is a top fuel Harley champion. This runs so rich you smell the gas after starting and running it.good power from stock but I feel I could have reached these numbers with just cams. Any way off to Dallas I go!

I ride from Miami to Dallas to get my bikes tuned properly at dynodifference, I am not knocking anyone else just after spending more than a few thousand on sub par tunes on 4 of my FI Harleys I will never go anywhere else, if you are within 2000 miles its worth the ride.

I have heard of these guys many of times and plan on taking it to them to tune. They are 225 miles away and that ain't far.

In the Dallas area Ed at the Dyno Difference http://www.thedynodifference.com does an excellent job tuning our kits, and his brother inlaw Lloyd has a shop V Twin Solutions http://www.v-twinsolutions.com he as built several of our 107 kits that have turned out very well. Both of these shops are top notch.

Here are before and after results for a Fuel Moto 107" build we did last week for another HDF member. It started as a 2010 Touring 96" with PC-V, Stage 1 air cleaner, Jackpot 2/1/2 head pipe, and Rinehart mufflers. We installed the Fuel Moto 107" kit with TW-555 cams, used the stock heads and TB and tuned it with his PC-V. Picked up 34HP and 39Tq.

Without going all the way through this thread, can the 107 upgrade be done with a new 103?
