Out of curiosity Jamie, when you get bikes into your shop for these builds, are you checking crank runout or looking for scoring on the oil pumps? I realize it's not something that you would do as a matter of course, I'm just wondering if you've compiled any averages as far as runout on the new cranks.

I just sent my heads and cylinders off to Diamond Cut today... he is sending them directly to Fuel Moto for me... so hopefully the first of Decemeber I will be up to have the 107 install done. I will be running the new Sinister Industries 2-1 "Up Yours" pipe so I'm curious what that will do on the dyno :-)

Crank runout
Jamie, on those cranks with a runout of .006-.007, are you recommending crank work prior to the hot 107 kit or can you run it as is?

.006-.007 is still well within Harley's specs, it really depends on the individuals requirements, how the bike is ridden, and the overall build specs. If we feel it is necessary we recommend building the crank

And, of course, I should have figured y'all checked them.
