Your bike turned out really well, thank you for giving us the opportunity to do your build

Jamie,
Any idea of when a package with heads may be available?

As many of you know Fuel Moto has been working on putting together our cylinder head program which we have now launched. We developed two different cylinder heads that work very well for their given application.

We started with a baseline test with a 2010 Touring with the following components:
FM 107 kit, Wood TW-555 cams, Jackpot 2/1/2 head pipe, Jackpot mufflers and it was tuned with Dynojet Power Vision. This bike makes what we would consider average numbers for this setup, not the lowest-not the highest-but right in line with the many, many 107's we have built and tuned.

Chart below references our baseline with the stock cylinder heads

The first head is what we call the Fuel Moto Level A head. This is our basic cylinder head which was developed as an entry level yet high quality, value based head and includes the following:
complete disassembly, inspection, and cleaning of cylinder heads
Street porting with an emphasis on low end torque and throttle response
CC combustion chamber to desired spec
Serdi full radius valve job
Stock Valves and Springs are inspected, tested, and retained
Machine/Install compression releases if required (+$100.00)
2-5 day turnaround on customer supplied heads

We were able to maintain excellent torque and pick up nearly 5 HP with the Level A head. You can also expect cooler running as well.

Here is a dyno chart of the Level A head, tested on the same day as our baseline

Our second head and sure to be our most popular is the Fuel Moto Level B cylinder head. This objective of this head was to maximize all around performance based on cams up to .590 lift offering a great combination of low end torque as well as upper RPM power. This head features the following:
Complete disassembly, inspection, and cleaning of cylinder heads
Extensive porting, texturing, and blending with an emphasis on best all around performance
Exhaust port and and combustion chamber are fully polished to mirror like finish
Oversize Stainless 1.900" Intake 1.610" Exhaust valves
Serdi full radius valve job
Extreme duty beehive style valve springs up to .600 lift
CC combustion chamber to desired spec
Machine/Install compression releases if required (+$100.00)
2-5 day turnaround on customer supplied heads

These heads made excellent overall numbers with big gains in Hp and Tq thru out the entire RPM range. We also used a Fuel Moto ported throttle body which cleans up the manifold and runner and gave it a full tune with Dynojet Power Vision.

Reference chart below for Fuel Moto Level B cylinder heads

Below is a comparison of the baseline run with the stock heads to the Fuel Moto Level B heads (note these runs were not performed on the same day)

More to come......

Very impressive number Jamie....Kudos to Fuel Moto !!
I hope to be fairly close to your "B" head set-up numbers with my build.
107 Fuel Moto kit, Big Boyz street port, 83cc, Manley springs, SE 50mm throttle body, Revolution Performance EMS, Fueling race oil pump w/ Baisley spring.
We only differ in valve sizes, mine are stock. Thanks for all your assistance on this build Jamie.

Very impressive numbers Jamie. Nice job. Have you you noticed any difference in the Dyno numbers with a 2 into 1 pipe vs a 2-2-1 pipe?? Let me know when the 117" build for the 110's begin

Nice numbers. Question regarding compression - You say you "CC combustion chamber to desired spec". Did you effect the compression ratio versus the stock heads? I believe you've mentioned 10.25:1 with your 107 kit and stock heads. Did you raise compression with either the A or B ported heads? And if so, to what?

The compression was not changed for our A heads which is 10.25:1 with our 107 kit, the chamber volume was changed slighly with our B cylinder heads and they were set to 10.44:1 compression.

These kits sound really good but what about hard starting with that compression? Do you put in compression releases? What about keeping the stock heads? At 10:25 with stock heads there will be some issues starting. Thanks!
