With the 107" bore there is only .030 less material than with a 103" bore and it is absolutely no issue. Many japanese and european motorcycle engines use much thinner sleeves in applications with as much as three times the HP output that run at at 2 1/2 times the peak RPM as these motors. Those referring to issues with wall thickness etc. in most cases are fueled by competitors and other manufacturers as sales tactics and are simply claims with no valid support data.

Your combination would work well with the 107" kit no problem

Jaime did you get that Dyna done yet?

Have a question for you to, is it possible to build a custom dyno map on a dyno tune machine for a Thundermax AT?

The Dyna is back together and I will likely tune it this evening. At the moment we are only supporting maps and calibrations with Dynojet products, however we do offer custom Thundermax dyno tuning in house

Jamie, have you tested this setup with the D&D Fatcat yet? Would I have to change my pipes because of the larger displacement?

Jamie,

In your honest opinion would it be worthwhile to swap out Rhinehart true duals for a D&D Fatcat or Rhinehart 2:1 system orunning your 107 kit?

stupid question here, for $1900, you say parts, installation, and dyno tune. what if you are running a bone stock bike, do you then have to add in the pcv or the new pcvision?

We have done quite a bit of exhaust testing recently on both our 107" and 103" bikes including several 2/1's. We will have information on a new system we have been working on in the next couple weeks.

You will generally see the best overall performance and power curve with a 2/1 or 2/1/2, however the Rinehart True Duals actually work well. Before I would change exhausts I would test them first. There is actually a customer from this forum that is bringing his 08 Street Glide for a 107" build and he has Rinehart true duals and we will post the results when available. We did a Wood's TW6-6 cam swap and dyno tune for him last season on the stock 96" and we were pretty impressed with the Rineharts with this combination so we will see how they perform with the 107.
