Jamie
Got a question on this and other FM 107 builds.
Are you getting the stock clutches to hold this power, or are you
stepping up to an AIM VP type clutch?

Thanks

i went with the AIM after my build: world of difference on the pull--worth it.

btw--ride out there (and back!) from the east was fantastic--Michigan and the UP. Nice set up in Little Chute with hotel, sports bar, etc. Easy 24 hours. Maybe I'll head back for porting and another 7-10 hp.

when i had mine done, we went with the stiffer clutch spring. within a month, i bought the aim vp clutch. should have gone that way first. when cruising down the road, the clutch wasn't so bad, but in stop and go traffic or slow speed parking lot stuff where you have to use the friction zone, it was murder. much happier now.

Thanks for the replies Ben & skratch.
Ordering my PV this month and I think I'll order the VP92T AIM
prior to making the trip to Little Chute later this summer.

For those with the vp92, do you run the stock clutch spring or the heavier one with the 107 kit?

The stock spring is what you want with the vp92.

Jamie, do you have a installer around seattle or on the west coast like Orient? One that will price match your price.
I would ride to almost anywhere on the coast.

Really want to order the kit with level B heads and a tune download just not sure I'm ready to tackle putting it all on in my garage. I know you send it with a instruction CD but I don't really have the special tools either.

Thanks Jamie
