I agree and what im saying is give it a few ears for others to put more miles on some of these botom ends and we will hear more about them. Not trying to hijack this thread. I have my own crank thread. I will say that FM 107 is the best bang for the buck and top notch support!!!

Yes, Orient Express installs our kits. Excellent group of individuals over there.

For you guys with big motors, check out the new Jackpot XXX Hi Output head pipe for high HP 2009-2013 Harley FLH applications. This pipe features tapered primaries (an industry first!), large collector which flows almost twice as much as our standard 2/1/2, along with several other new features. Full stainless steel construction and retains factory heat shields. We will be officially releasing this pipe at V Twin Expo in Cincinnati on Feb 2nd. More info to come....

Default what is tapered primary

is the tapered primary the tapered wedge shaped end on the stock harley pipes. I like those ends better for sealing if thats what u mean. I always have a bit of trouble getting the flat ends with the small flat gaskets to seal inside the head.

The "tapered primary" refers to the design of the head pipes which rather than stepping the pipe we taper for a gradual transition. While the physics and theory is the same as a stepped pipe, a taper is superior from a flow standpoint as there are no "steps" to disturb the pressure wave. This also makes for a cleaner, more streamlined system with less joints and welds. In R&D we focus on maximum performance with best overall design/construction.
