Default Heading back to the Dyna

Giving up my radio and fairing and making the reverse jump back to a Dyna. Trading in my '09 Street Glide next week for an '11 Street Bob.

I may keep a few of the extras i put on the SG and post them up on the classified boards. I'm getting a trade-in price on the HD Chopped Tour Pak that I put on it this past spring. We'll see what they come at me with. Probably better off giving someone here a deal on it....

I liked my Dyna, but I'm not sure I'd trade my SG back in on another. I guess I'll keep an eye out for the classifieds.

Good Luck!

I'd like to have both but the majority of my riding is two up touring so i'll keep the Glide as number 1 choice. I'd love a Fat Bob but will just have to be patient.

good luck

When I got the SG I was hoping to start doing some longer rides. With family and other commitments, I've come to realize that for the forseeable future, my riding will be mostly short trips with the occasional day trip. All my riding is solo, so didn't really need the SG for a passenger. The ideal situation would have been to keep the SG and add a SB, but $$-wise isn't really possible now.

Thanks for the good-wishes.

I understand where you are at. I was fortunate enough to stumble onto a deal on a 2006 Street Bob this summer and add it to my 2010 Street Glide in the garage. The dyna was already built to 95 inches by the previous owner and only had 9500 miles on it. Price was good.

I am now fortunate enough to have a bagger and a bobber, and I have to admit I do almost enjoy riding the bobber a little more. The Street Bob feels more nimble in the turns and as it is lighter with a lower center of gravity it can be quite fun to ride.

Best wishes in you search for the optimum ride for your style.

Good luck and have fun.

I traded off the Fat Boy for the Street Glide so I could take some long trips.
I am now physically unable to do that.
But the Street Glide makes for some easy 250 mile day rides.
