Congrats on your new ride,,,,,,,, i looked at the flhtk,, but opted for the ultra,, the frames on the newer bikes are sure a big improvement over the old frames...

HD Premium Oil cooler took me down about 10-15 deg in oil temp, stage one and PCV took me down another 10 deg- both made a huge difference.
Next is headers.

Did you road test the 2011 RG's? If so, what was your impression?

3600 miles on mine i picked mine up august 14th, love it , have fun

There sure is a difference between the fairings.There is less wind noise with the batwing.No problem getting use to the fairing difference(fixed vs.turning).
Congrats on the new bike! Weird how things work out. I just recently went the other way. 2006 Ultra Classic to 2011 RG Ultra. I now preferred the shark nose fairing. And I guess the rest of the bike is the same...
