Here in New England we really only ride half the year so most bikes have low miles. There is a 2006 Street Glide for sale locally with 75k but he says the engine was replaced 6k miles ago. The price is very good ($10,500) but the miles are very high, is this worth it or would I end up putting more money into it as other things go? I only go a couple thousand miles a year.

 

If it was my bike and I knew how it was treated it would not bother me one bit. My current ride, an 08 EGC has 33000 on it. I would question just why the motor was replaced at 69k, who did it, and where are the receipts. What is the condition of the frame etc for rust and the like. I think that was the first year for the Street Glide and it would have the last of the 88 C.I. engines. Also was it replaced with a like motor and if so did it have any upgrades like the latest cam followers or geared cam. Just wondering out load but even at a good price is still quite a sum of money.
