The tropical rains have finally settled to just scattered showers so I had a chance to put some miles on the bike. Over the last couple of weeks I added the Wild One 518 bars and the new Metzeler for the '09 touring bikes. Logged about 400 miles Saturday and can report that both the bars and the tire are a big improvement.

I doubt the Metzeler will give the same mileage as the Dunlops, but it will stick in the corners like it is on rails. It is easy to drag the broads on both sides if care is not taken.

To top everything else off, my wife bought me a Bell Custom 500 Stunt for my birthday yesterday. Sweet!
