Have you guys noticed that the new 2011 seat on the RG Ultra is much more comfortable? I had my old seat on my 2006 EG Ultra worked twice and it still would give me a sore butt after just an hour or two. But this new seat on my RG Ultra has not made my butt sore once. I've traveled several long days already and not a problem at all. I finally got a stock seat that works!

 

I just picked up a 2011 EG Ultra Limited several weeks ago. I've put about 1100 miles on it so far and without a doubt it has the best seat of any bike I've ever owned. No after market seat for me on this one.

 

Yep keeping mine. Thought about selling my Road Zep even.

 

just bought one for my 09 rg and i AM selling the zep. the new seat is cheap too...179.00

Is this the same seat that comes on the FLTRX?

 

Sat on an RGU yesterday. Thought the seat was real comfortable, but felt like I was sitting on the bike, not "in" it. Not sure if it's because my 08 had the bars changed to +2 sweepers or not. Hopefully I will be albe to sit on another one with a similar bar change and make a comparison. Was thinking about changing seats, but not so sure now.

This is not meant as a slam to new RGU owners, just my opinion. YMMV

 

Good to know on the seat..I had to swap out the OEM torture rack on my VTX for a Mustang...was hoping to avoid having to go that route on the RK

 

Not sure since it came on the bike stock.

 

I'm pretty sure it comes on the RG Ultra and the EG Ultra, but I don't know about other models.
