The top end is the same size bore, the crankshaft is where the displacement is gained, the piston pin location is different so it won't work. He needs big bore pistons to upgrade his TC88.

He's looking to buy parts from a stock motor that went with a 110" kit before it left the dealership. He's looking to "upgrade" to a 96" if the package is what it says it is... (a 96 to 110) will it push an 88 to a 96"?

No, the cylinders are the same and the pistons although the same bore will not work unless used with a 4 3/8 stroke crank(piston pin is in a different location as to locate the pistons 3/16" lower at TDC, skirts are different too) as Glide has pointed out, it's the 4 3/8 crank that bumps a 3 3/4 bore(88" and 96" both have the same bore) to 96" . A 88" has a 4" stroke crank using a 3 3/4" bore.
