Default Saddlebag Top Rails...

I recently added saddlebag rails for a Road King and went with the Ultra rails which I personally think look better than the RKC rails. Really like the look and appreciate the extra "protection" they provide. I also got a set of the top rails but am not sure I want to add them - especially since you have to drill holes.

Do you guys think they look better with or without the top rails? My bike is a RKC with hard bags.

I installed them on my 09 electra glide classic. I like the looks and the extra protection. They are easy to install just take your time and make sure everything is lined up before you drill.

I think they look nice. The airwing toprails are on my list of items to put on my King.

I just installed hard Bags on my deluxe the used Bags I picked up already had them installed I have to get the bags painted so I could not make my mind up if I was going to keep them or not. But the first time I got off my Bike after a long ride my boot hit the top of the Bag no damage to the paint so I am going to keep them on.

I have them on my Ultra. One thing that I am glad I put on cause I find myself hitting the top of the bag all the time when I either get on or off. And it help when the wife tries to get on too.

I put them on my bike and like the looks and added protection. Put some clear silicone around the holes and they wont leak. I have many miles in the rain and not had a problem yet. Put you some painters tape down, have your wife hold it where you want it, trace around the posts, mark the holes and drill. Too easy.

Anyone have the Air wing set up with led lights? Was thinking of the new black ones with my denim paint. What do you guys think.

Those are the ones I want on my RK. Probably wont get them on until next year though. My 16" ape project set me back way more than I thought it would..

Would love to see images as well. I think they really look sharp in the catalog with the lights all wired up.

I'm planning on the HD airwing black versions. Matching rack for my chopped TP as well.
