We lost one of our local dealers this year, too. It was a fairly small store, but it was the one closest to my house, and I hated like hell to see it close down.

It does but there is also I dealer 25 mins from my house so I dont have to go to far and there is one 10 min from my work.
All the employees there blame it on the GM .I guess he pissed off alot of customers.
I know I am going to buy some hi ways pegs and some more stuff next week when its 30 percent off.My girl friend is going today to buy some clothes.

I'm sure this isn't the first, nor will it be the last store to close. H-D stores used to be hard to find and now they're on every corner, it seems. The economy has changed, and things are going to be a lot different from now on, I'm afraid.

I heard they weren't paying their bills with the MoCo and the MoCo was cutting them off. I do know that they were looking for a new sales person at the beginning of the season and they offered my bro in law the job - for $9 an hour with no commission. He kindly turned them down, of course.

Crappy wage, and no commission....Boy, there's a big incentive to sell, sell, sell.
