I've never had anything stolen, but have know others that have had items stolen off their bike. That's why I lock my saddlebags and have the locks for the detachables.

I replaced my stock eye poker (antenna) with a short antenna. Did not take too long before it was gone. I think I put it on tight enough, but I can't say for sure if it was taken or fell off. Either way I don't miss it because I'm always using my iPod.

I try to park my ride where I can see it and if I can't then I check on it often. I still think most people are basically good and will not mess with your stuff. However, kids can be an exception because they are as curious as cats, so I try to avoid parking near them.

You can leave a warning to others with this product:

I had one of those "Crampbuster" cruise assist devices removed from my 1200 Sporster once. No big deal as they only cost $10 or so.

I havent, but Im very selective on where I part the bike. The local movie house has a vandalism problem in the parking lot so we dont ride to the movies. Ive been thrown out of a Motel for requesting a handicap room and riding the bike in. That happened in El Paso. Hell, South of I-10 I may as well give them the keys, a full tank of gas, and a warrenty.

A set of tire valve stem caps once... Been lucky actually. I used the Brukus saddle bag secure bolts for the bags.

I was stripping a soccer field in view of my bike and was watching the High School soccer team making laps by my bike and when I got on it to leave my Ipod was gone and they were nice enough to leave me the wire. Attached it with hook and loop velcro, every time i took it off I thought I was gonna break it in half so I know it wasn't growing legs and just walk off. Just when you think you know who you can trust, it happens.

Thumbs down Roll bag disappeared

Had my roll bag taken off of the luggage rack while I was at work. HD rainsuit, boot covers, and gloves were inside it. Had the bag for about 15 years, nice and sun-faded, look good. Real kick in the *** is that I work at federal govt facility, next to impossible to gain access. But once you're inside, just help yourself...
