Default Oil Misting on 2011?

I read where HD changed the breather valve assemblies on the 2011 models. From my experience, on pre-2011's if you moved to a high flow breather such as a Big Sucker, etc, you might get a misting problem (I know I did on a couple bikes.)

Has anyone who as went to the high flow breathers have had any misting? Maybe HD fixed a sporadic nuisance problem?

Unhappy Misting

I noticed it on my 2010 RK right after I installed my Big Sucker. It's not much...but it is noticable.

Until now, I didn't think anything of it.

I will be watching this thread hoping to hear from some 2011 owners with high flow air cleaner. I plan on installing the new Breathers on my 2009 FLHX if it will fix my Oil Must problem

My '03 Dyna, my '04 Ultra, and my wife's '06 883L ALL blow a little oil out of the breather and it drips off the inside of the air cleaner onto the right side of the engine. They have all done this since putting on the HD high flow intake/breather. I am considering re-routing the breather on all the bikes so they dump the oil on the ground instead of through the intake.

my bikes did the same thing i install a v&h drake air cleaner assembly and no oil misting and also it helps to keep you level a half a quart low.

I agree on the Doherty fix, but anyone have the 2011 that mists with a high flow or heavy breather?
