Fuelmoto Power package/Ultra Limted/Pulling Camper
Hi all!
I hope that someone who may have the same set up like mine, will give me an advice.
My bike is ultra limited 2010 (103 CI), Fuel Moto power package installed (still run with stock CAM), and I am pulling a bunkhouse camper trailer that has an approximate load of 550 lbs.
And here is my problem, my bike has been struggling to pull the trailer. Even at low gear (4th an 5th), the bike barely gets more than 55 mph on a 10 degrees uphill. The bike sputters if I give it too much throttle, almost lost the power at the 6th gear. I am really frustrated!
I have seen many ultra classic bikes pulling trailers that are heavier than mine, uphill, over the mountains. and so on.
My two questions to those who have factual experience about my problem:

My two questions to those who have factual experience about my problem:
- Will install the Tw-6-6 Wood CAM give the bike enough power to pull the trailer?
- Is there any better modification to the bike to have more power than the Fuelmoto power package?

Hi Jamie!
This is Nick, I hope you still remember me. Yes, the exhaust is Jackpot header with slip-on. Of course, the PCV, and air-filter also come with the package.
I don't see any thing wrong except the bike has been lacking of power as a 103 CI engine.
During the Sturgis rally, I have seen many older model bikes, two-ups (i ride alone) pulling a camper similar as mine, and they all claim that they have no problem of pulling. That is not my case!
At some point, the bike only drag itself as its own ability, if I increase the throttle, then it only make a lot of noise, but increase the speed. No way my bike can pull the trailer over California mountains.
Will installing the CAM make the difference? or should I go with real dual exhaust system?
Thanks much for your help.
