How to black out bottom portion of windshiels?????

Default How to black out bottom portion of windshiels?????

I have an Ultra, with the stock shield, and would like to black out the bottom portion where the windshield pouch rubs. Anyone every done this or have any suggestions? As always thanks for any help. Ride safe and long!

Here ya go, check out harley.farmer(s) album of his fine Limited. He's put on a windshield that I think you might like (I certainly do). He told me that it was a windshield from Memphis Shades. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/membe...y-friends.html

I used a section of "Limo Tint" on my old FLHT. You could stop by a sign shop and get a piece of Auto-Grade black vinyl....then cut it to fit the lower section of shield.
Install it wet and squeegee out the bubbles

I'll go with blue tape, some 440 sandpaper to etch the surface, and black Krylon spray paint for plastic. Final answer.

That's what I did on the SG to cover up the T-bag pouch.
