Leaving Friday early taking the back side of Tahoe around Mt Rose onto 395. Been up and down 395 from Bodie to Topaz since Thursday and the weather is perfect except for the afternoon winds through the Antelope Valley / Walker River canyon. Tons of bikes cruisin' 395. Taking the bagger this time and staying at Peppermill.

Street Vibrations Warning
First off I can't wait for the weekend all the major seat vendors will be there and I'm in the market for a taller seat. I was hoping that Zippers was going to come but i was told it was to far for them so I bought it online and get it today.
A word of caution. Last year Reno PD had motorcycle officers waiting just off the two first freeway exits as you come into town from the 395 south.
So be aware that they are there for one reason and that's to make money off of y'all via tickets. I don't believe they are after loud pipes but speeding is easy money for the city.

Drove through "downtown" Reno in July, and haven't been there since the mid-90's.......... Wow, is all I can say. It looked like a ghost town, and half the casinos are closed/gone. What a shame, I spent many a year in that town.
We rode down the main drag, past Circus-Circus, Eldorado, etc, and we saw 1 person on the street, and passed 3 cars. What the hell happened to that place?
