Buying spoke rims
Hey members, I’m looking towards my winter project. RIMS. I have decided down to different manufactures. May big question is that one company said that his spoke rims never needs truing after manufacturing. Their technology is patented and never needs truing. Is that BS?
The other manufacture said that’s BS all spokes needs to be serviced sometime. What is the right answer?

RE: Buying spoke rims
I'd think if something can be adjusted it would need to be re-adjusted at some point.
Is the first guy saying his spokes are welded in place or somehow made so as not to loosen with time and wear?
In my research before I went with billet wheels I found several manufacturers of spoke wheels who will seal the rim so as to be able use a tubeless tire but they also said at some point they would need to be adjusted and then resealed.
I'm sure some of us here will know a lot more than me. Stand by for more answers from them.
