Default Inner Fairing - Contrasting Color?

Just read an interesting thread and instead of highjacking it - well here goes another.

I have a vivid black and I'm thinking of using a contrasting color for the inner fairing.

Anyone done this? Please post 'em up.

Anyone thought of a good color choice to use as a contrast to the vivid?

Suscribed. I've thought about this too, but can't picture any color that would look right.

I think it dependent on other accent colors/accessories. Maybe a grey Pearl?

Been thinking about this exact question for quite awhile and don't have any ideas. Not surprising for someone with ZERO artistic ability.

Anybody????

I'd like to do something in carbon fiber on my inner fairing.

I'm repainting my fairing as we speak. The outer is Birch White 90303 with black pin striping. The inner fairing will be gloss black to match the side covers.

Before my bike was repainted candy apple red sunglo, it was birch white with a vivid black with fine silver metal flake inner fairing. I'd post a picture but you won't see the flake.

Just stop by an auto paint shop and look at the color chips and you'll find plenty of vivid black with varying sizes of flake.

I was thinking the same for my vivid black. I was wondering what the Black Pearl would look like. Maybe a little photoshop is in order?

You know, I was discussing this very topic with a Ridin' Bud this week!
My pin stripe is silver/grey (?). Don't really care for that as a inner color though (too light). Black on black doesn't do much for me either. A few years back, H-D had a dark grey that looked almost black in the shade...maybe?!?!
Will be keeping an eye on this thread too!!
