V & H Twin Slash Slip-ons

I have them. I used the V&H Fuelpak and stock header at first. I did a re-map, but was told that it was not necessary. They have a good sound. I have now paired them with the V&H Power Duals - what a different bike. I would recommend to anyone that changing out the stock head pipe is a great mod.

Just installed a set last weekend on my ultra. Nice deep throaty sound but little loud for me right now untill I get used to them. You will need atleast
half volume playing to really understand the words while cruising @ 55 plus. The wife and friends say they sound awesome but I may look into installing a quiet baffle for it. The pipes do look and sound great just have to get used to that sound. The neighbor guy says they sound ok and not any louder than most of the bikes out there. also last night just finished installing the stage 1 setup and can't wait to test ride today. Hopefully the pipes didnt get louder but i think they will. I'm in my mid 50's and not into the loud pipe thing so take that into consideration.

mbjack,
I have those mufflers with V&H dresser duals, love them, great sound, and the sound mellows out nicely at cruise speeds.(can hear the radio alot better than before)I took off the old style Screamin Eagle mufflers (race only) they were getting way too loud.If you get them I think you'll be happy.I don't care for the too loud anymore, those days are gone for me.Be safe
