bought mine for a little over 1,250 they call it a 7 year but it don't start till your 2 year factory warranty is up. so I guess it is really a 5 year? that was 2 1/2 years ago. Have had a broken fairing bracket and the compensator and rotor and one rear tire replaced. Over $950.00. $300.00 more in the next 4 years and it will pay for itself. No-Brainer.

Bought 2008 Ultra, bargained for half off so I got 5 year EW for $700
I have 42,000 miles now.
Today I paid my $50 deductible and got.
1. My third set of heated handgrips.
2. New Starter Clutch
3. Refurbished HK Radio
4. Bad wire fixed on my ABS
So, yes I'm a fan of the Extended Warranty. Just try to deal when you buy a new bike.

I'm buying my RK through ENCS which is basically military sales. While deployed overseas they offer special pricing. My 2011 Sedona Orange Road King is coming with ABS, Security and Cruise Control and the 5 year extended warranty for 18437.00
They originally quoted 999.00 for the warranty in all the quotes they were sending me. When I kept asking for a quote without the warranty they came up with a 609.00 credit/rebate towards any warranty. For 390.00 I figured a no-brainer
Hope I don't have to use it but nice knowing it is there if needed
