Just this pass yr. I went to Advance Auto looking for tranny oil for my
new to me 08 RKC. I ticked up the Royal Purple and the price was $20.00
I put that down fast and went with the $10/11 dollar Mobil 1 for the
tranny, and I love it, easy find netural and 5 gear whine is almost gone.

I went today to purchase 12 qt. and at Advance Mobil 1 is $20.00
a qt. (12 qt. for RV) ................WTF......LESS THAN A YR. IT DOUBLED?

were you looking at the 75/90 or the 75/140 The 75/140 was 16.95 a qt last time I was in Advance.

 

I was about to not buy the Mobile 1 because of the high price until the salesman pointed out that it was the 85/140 that was higher.

The Mobile 1 85/90 was $11. I hope it has not gone up.

 

Two days ago at AutoZone Mobil1 75/90 gear oil was $8.99 a quart.(regular price)
