Slip-on muffler finish

Slip-on muffler finish
Gents, here's the deal. Since I'm stationed overseas the warranty for my slip-on mufflers is automatically voided. The mufflers I currently have are about a year old but rust is coming through the welds and the finish is starting to pit. I clean and wax about every week but the rust continues to get worse. No I don't ride in the winter as the bike is stored and covered. Everything else on the bike looks good so I think the chrome finish on these mufflers was just too thin. Even my stock mufflers that have more miles look better than these but they don't sound as good. Anyhow, I need some slip-on mufflers that not only sound good but have a finish tough enough to resist rust. I'd appreciate any input and especially from those who ride in the northern latitudes. Thanks. Ride safe. SF

Ryan, thanks for your gracious offer to make things right but, you're not the vendor who sold me the mufflers and I don't want you taking responsibility for it. The website for the vendor I bought my mufflers from clearly states that "products shipped outside of North America do not have a warranty" and I am not looking for an exception. It is what it is.
I really appreciate your offer and will order my replacements from you. Expect to hear from me around Christmas. SF
