I'm not choosing sides here. I am trying to understand both viewpoints.

I have now read how mickey mouse would voluntarily kill tourest. How the man is trying to keep us down on the farm to union workers causing the down fall of corprate america.
Many wise people here have made some profound statements. Many unwise people here have made some incredible unprofound statements.

This seems to me to be nothing more than labor and business at its best.
Labor, Management, Bargining.

SNIP:{the average worker made $32,048 } not bad for what is basicaly low level education, unskilled labor. The $32,048 does not include holidays, vacation, sick, and medical/dental. Add it up and it is very very good.

Are the executive wages/compensation outta controll throughout ? Yea.
Do Shareholders deserve to make something on their investments? Heck yea.

So how would you have it ? How would you fix it? So all is fair and equitable.

I think the system is working.

Companies= big profit= jobs. I don't believe that the issue is limited to the hourly wage. There are work rules that were part of the negotiations that cost time and money. I don't believe for a moment that (American worker + fair salary = bad). I just disagree with the union mentality that all workers are equall in their ability to do the job. The greater the effort of the worker on behalf of the company the greater the reward should be. Where is the incentive to achieve in the everyone is the same thinking?

Good for them. I would sure hate to be out of a job in this economy. I feel very fortunate.
