keeping your bike nice is likely very important to you, in which case I recommend enclosed. road dirt, debris and water can do a number...and then the clean-up. In an enclosed trailer they arrive ready to go. I initially had a Forest River 5x10 for my FLHX, which worked great. This year my wife got her own ride, so we again went with Forest River...this time a 7x12. Good quality...less $$ than Haulmark or Wells Cargo. Pull it with an F150 5.4L v8. Get about 12MPG when trailering.

 

Look behind my bike in the sig. I got a Haulmark Cargo trailer with a ramp door and set it up to carry a bike. WheelDock Chock and E-Track. Hauled the bike a few times and it works great.
