+1 on the SE for close to stock sound. However, I have the Vance and Hines dresser duals and love them. Not too loud, but they speak with authority when needed. You need to listen to different pipes to get a feel for how they will sound, when they are riding past you at different speeds and when at pushed at idle. The dealer garage and bike events are good places to start.
