Default not gripping the road

i have a 2004 heritage soatail when on the interstate it feels like the bike is on ice not any traction feels like i am floating over the road. any help would be appreciated. thank you

Check your tire pressure. Check your spokes and make sure they are tight. Make sure your steering head bearings are not too loose. Last of all try some stickier tires like Avon or metzeler.

This could be a number of things suspension-wise/bearing-wise/alignment-wise/etc/etc but simple things first ... cold tires - full tread and all - in a cold environment are not going to handle real well.

Move.

thank you all, i checked tire pressure and spokes and both are fine. drove up rt 95 and tried changing set position and it really helped if i sit lower in the saddle. i have the harly seat that came with it with a sissy bar. was ridding 2 up and am wondering if i was to change saddles if it would be better all my old bikes were hondas with mustange seats.

then check shock adjustments....riding 2-up setting
