Issues with 09 Ultra Classic

Back from the dealer.
Rattle in the engine was the Compensator had virtually ripped itself apart.
None in stock, and on back order. Chose to upgrade for $130.00 to the Screamin Eagle

They also fixed the starter clutch.
Hopped on it today and rode it home, it sounded and performed like day 1 off the lot. Very impressed.
Thanks for all the discussion.
Pensacola Harley has impressed me.
Short notice fix on brake switch. They were on it, fixed it and had it back to me in just a short bit of time with no appointment.
Compensator and starter fixed with no problem and great professional service.
I WILL be going back to them.
Now.. to just decide whether or not to get the extended warranty.
40k in 2 years... and 7 warranty claims so far... I am thinking it might be worth my money to invest in one. Love the Harley.. just putting it through the ringer. 5 more years of warranty could give me a warm and fuzzy.

This thread explains a lot. My problem started with radio static and progressed to static only when I applied the brake with the front brake lever. Then I found that the brake lights didn't work when I used the rear brake pedal. Tonight I found some red fluid on the concrete under the bike. After reading this, I think I know where my problem might be.
