Had the nasty starter sounds - especially when hot - a lot of other people have posted about.

Got my compensator replaced with the SE compensator yesterday. Haven't ridden much yet, but my initial assessment is. . . big difference. Smoother. Less clunky. Quieter. No kick-back when starting hot. Seems to shift smoother.

Will update more when I have more miles on the new compensator.
