Default Rear Mount / Swing Arm spacer problem??

I have an 04 FLHTCI and while getting ready for a trip I was checking and going over the bike while cheaning. I noticed that the space between the tire and rear fender was wider on the right than on the left?? Just behind the upper portion of the saddle bags.

I haven't had any problems but this difference got my attention.

Stopped by the Dealer and talked with the Service Manger (guy has been around HD's for years and is a good guy)

He told me that the rear tire was sitting a little to the left - not all that uncommon with bikes as they get miles on them (mine is at 50K). He went on to explain (I think, lol) that the issue comes from torque over a long period and is torquing to the left - weaking the left side of the swing arm.

Question here is - has anyone else delt with this type of issue before??

Manager went on to say High Torqued/HP bikes can show this faster, due to the increased torque on the rear section.

Default

almost 24 hours and no one else has had this problem??

May I ask a few of you that have a fair amount of miles on your bike - go out and put your hand between the tire and fender (upper area) on each side and tell me if yours is off like mine or equal? If you have a tour pac - the saddle bags will have to come off to get your hand in there - come on, what else you got to do today, lol

Thanks.
