Why bother when you can't even see it?

 

Someone mentioned the chrome cutting the belt, the belt is kevlar and a thousand times stronger than the microfilm of chrome. One would have to be careful because the inner ring on the pulley is just peened on and may come off. I would consider having it spot welded on if you were going to chrome it.
As far as the pulley cover trapping dirt and moisture, this is true but the cover is on the side not in the groove of the belt.

 

Thanks for your replies. I think I will hold off for now, the only reason I was thinking about it was I could get it chromed for free. And I guess if your on you hands and knees you could see it. I am just a junkie for chrome.....

 

...if they make a 70-tooth and can figure the cush drive or drop the cush altogether!

 

Just recieved my chrome wheels and pulley from Impress Plating. Installing them today. chrome pulley was $120.00 exchange with my wheels.
