Default Long Ride Shields - $65 sale

For those of you who have been wanting or waiting to try the LRS Ultra or Classic Shields NOW IS THE TIME!

Until the first day of fall (Sept 22) Long Ride Shields will be having our end of summer sale.

all our windshields which were already on sale have been dropped even more.

we want everyone to have the chance to try them out.

The Ultras are by far the best performing windshield available and they are less expensive than any other comparable brand by more than 25$

Ultras and Classics are only $65

X-streams $79

Road King Shields only $89 - that is cheap.

We will also be coming out with a shorter version of the road king shield so if you want to weigh in on the design please let us know by emailing at longrideshields@gmail.com

here's a link to the sale

I forgot to mention that we still offer our 24 hr shipping and expedited 2-3 day mail for all the shields but the road king, it has to go snail mail because its too heavy.

Long Ride guys,

I will be measuring up for an Ultra Flip tonight and place my order tomorrow. I have an X stream and love it but want to try the flip.

LRS Folks:

Just mounted the 8" flip on my 09 Street Glide. I bought the solid (non-see thru) black. My question is this, I mount a radar detector on a suction cup mount on the inside looking into the oncoming traffic. Will that detector work through the solid black shield?

Love your product, just haven't seen any law yet to know if I blocked out my detector or not. Thanks. EW

I am interested in one, but am trying to figure out what height I need.

Then I find the conflicting info on your site.

"How do you measure your windshields? Our windshields are measured from the center screw in the fairing to the top of the windshield. For example, an 8" windshield looks slightly shorter when inserted in the fairing because of its hidden base."

"The height of our windshields are measured from the top of the fairing to the top of the windshield.
If you want to be able to see over your shield, just measure out the size that's right for you."

I know it is only a 1/2" or so difference, but the Ultra's are sold in 1" height differences. I'm 5'10" with a long torso (30" inseam) and long arms 34" sleeve.

Suggestions?

Thank you LRS for the sale. I didn't need one, but I plan on changing my seat height, and that made an oppurtune moment to save a lil money and buy a new shield. BTW, the 10" Ultra I have now is awesome & I've been thru most of your competitors, Thanks...

I had similar questions and called them. Guy on the phone was great and spent about 20mins talking to me. Ended up with the 8" Ultra on on UC. I love it!
