I’m seriously considering a new Road King Classic, but the stock bars will not work for me. I’m about 5’10” and my arms have no bend. I think I would like bars that put my hands just below my shoulders with some bend in my elbows.

If you have a King and bars you like please post pics and info on what kind of bars they are. The same goes with your seat, I’m mostly interested in a solo or convertible seat. If you have one you love please post pic and info for me. I’m going tohave some cash for this bike with the sale of house in less than a month and I would like to have all my decisions made when I walk into the dealership.

07 RK with heritage style bars, Corbin seat

 

I have the same issue on my new King. Love the bike, hate the bars. I'm going APE next week. I've heard so many good things about apes I thought I would try them. God knows these stock things aren't working.... I was temped to try the Heritage bars BUT a lot of mixed reviews with looks and feel. I held the Heritage (style) bars up to my bike and I didn't think there was THAT much of a difference. I'm 5.9" with an inseam of 30'. From asking around at the dealership and chatting with folks here I hope the overall idea of Apes will be a good one for me... Sure do cost a lot by the time you swap everything over.

I think apes will be the best bet. I sat on a Sportster with apes and it felt like a lot bigger bike. My RK has stock bars and being 6'2" with apey arms, my hands feel like they are right on my knees right now.
