When done I will have black fork lowers, uppers, and the light mounting bar and trim piece. I also have ablack crash bar. I will have chrome wheels, discs, brakes, and hand controls. I hope it looks good

 

Zook, does your bike pull to one side under braking? With sportbikes I could always tell the single from the dual disks by the tendancy to pull to the side. I'd think with these large bikes the pull would be more apparent.

 

I thought that was a myth. Just like you can only have one fork leg and because it is centered it will not cause ill effects.

 

It does not pull to one side, but I did notice a slight twist on hard braking. At first it was a little unnerving, but now that I'm used to it, I barely notice it. ZOOK

 

Did it to mine. Just squeeze the lever harder it works fine and save some $$$ LOL!!

For the price, and the look...I'd go to drums.

 

I haven't had any pulling problems with mine,and my brake is twice the size of the stock brake.I wouldn't put nothing smaller than a six piston caliper on,which gives you more stopping power than the stock duals.

Hey Zook,

What do you call the parts you have installed between the hard bags and the rear fender? I assume they serve the purpose of hiding the somewhat unsightly brackets that support the saddlebags. They look great. Where can I find them?
