can someone tell me if this year motorcycles have catalytic converters installed?

This really needs to get stickied...

The 2009 48 state bikes do not, the 2010 and later do.

Yes, all 2011's have catalytic converters .

Unless you have a 2006 tour model, which has a cat in the right side muffler.

And yet, there is still (for 2011) a difference between a California bike and a 49-state bike. I don't know what it is, but the Cali bikes all have special tags on them during assembly.

My 2009 federal model (non california) Ultra has NO catalytic converter anywhere ( I looked ).

The difference is in the breather...
