66010-97C MSRP is $149.95, if you paid more than that either taxes are too high where you live or the dealer is fugging you. The Deka ETX30L is the same battery as the 66010-97C.

Harley dont make batteries, plugs or tires, but if they put their name on anything
you are going to pay THEM more!! Tenn.Vol.

I have a friend that rides a Yamaha cruiser.He took it to the dealer for carb work and a battery.They charged him 220 dollars for the battery.I could hardly believe he paid that much.

Ouch,,,,, over 15% increase in a short time.. glad we are in a recession...

when my batt goes on my eg.. im going to put a $30 tractor battery in the saddle bag.. it has higher cranking amps and will last at least as long..will cost an additional $10 for batt cables but???

Install probably wasn't really "Free" but at least you don't have to worry about a battery for a few years.

Picked up a new one and walked out the door with it about two weeks ago for $145. So you paid $20 for installation.

Wether a mc battery is $108 or $168 it's amazing that they cost that much compared to a automotive battery.
