Default Brake switch sealer?

What do you use to seal the brake switch which is inline on the rear brake?
I purchased two lines from Goodrich and the front line is 4" too long, has anyone else had this problem?

If I'm not mistaken, those threads are NPT...which means they're tapered.
They should seal just by tightening.

True but even tapered threads under high pressure may still require a sealant.
