V & H Hi outputs / BACK PRESSURE ?
I was wondering if anyone is running these slip-on mufflers on there stock 96inch motors ? I understand these hi output mufflers are for big bore applications 103'S AND 110'S . I really like the look of these , and they are 4.5 dia cans . They are pretty loud I understand , but I was wondering if there is enough BACK PRESSURE useing them on a stock 96inch compression . I did a search but could not find the answer , any input good or bad is welcome . I want to make sure of my purchase before I spend the money ! THEY AIN'T CHEAP ! I actaully bought the 4" RH'S last night but re****ed on them this morning ! I really want the hi outputs if they will work ? Thanks Kenny

I'm running one on my 2010 SG, 96 with SE Super Tuner EFI and Harley Heavy Breather. Purchased new from dealer already on. No problems so far after almost 3000 miles.
Check out the video in this thread for an opportunity to hear them

I've got a set I ran for a while in black........I now run Monster Ovals.....the HO's were too loud........when I put them on I looked through them and there is about a 3" hole that goes strait through like a strait pipe.....they can't be producing any or much back pressure......here's a picture:
The sound wasn't as deep as the monster ovals are.....it was more metallic...the frequency of the HO's interfered more with the radio...the monster ovals are loud (with dresser duals header and se255 cams)....but at a lower frequency and it seems to be in a difference range than the radio.....I can hear the radio better with the monster ovals.....and not feel like I've been beaten up side the head with a ball pean hammer like I did when riding with the HO's.
