Default "Finally" Heat Shields That Work!!!!!

My wife and I were getting tired of the heat coming off the rear Cylinder and right side pipes. She was really starting to complain about her right leg burning. We rode over to see Captain Itch yesterday. I had heard some good stuff about his Leather Heat Shields. He installed them on both our bikes. I could tell a difference before we got a mile from his house. When we got home my wife says feel here, I'm usually burning up in this area on the back of my right leg. They really work! I chose the Barbed wire Tooling. My wife got the Black studs to match her Mustang seat. Here's some pics of the King. I think they look good on it! JMO

Looks good and better still works good. You can't ask for more than that. It is great to hear when people get what they paid for and better to see the pictures.

So how do they mount to the bike? Any drilling required?

Thanks Iceman, I've got the set of HD heat shields that came on my wifes 2010 SG Trike. If any forum member wants them, PM me and they can have them. Just pay the shipping cost. UPDATE, I gave the stock heat shields to HDforums member over six months ago.

Glad you found something that works well for you. I'm all about function and usually go for that over looks. I have "no more fried thighs" which also work great and in my opinion looks a lot better (a little more streamline) but if you are happy with what you have that's all that matters.
