In my opinion that is alot of money to spend just for a few times you would use hard lowers.
I had a 04 RK but went with soft lowers because the majority of the time I needed them was in terrential downpours or snow time when all that salt was on the road. Other than that I wore enough clothing to accomodate. The soft ones cost 45$ I think and they worked the last 5 years or so.
Now my '11 Ultra, they are on forever most likely unless I decide to fork out the detachable kit.
