Good Service from K &N
With all the negative customer service we have all experience I wanted to give credit well deserved to the people from K & N. I pulled my 3 year old K and N air filter off my 06 RKC to service and discovered the rubber gasket that is bonded to the filter had come loose. Not a big deal, but knowing it had a life time warranty, I chose to look into it. I bought it at the local auto zone (good price). I dug up the reciept which was faded to the point of not being able to read it. Autozone said the store warranty was 90 days any way and the life time deal was through the manufacturer..understandable. They gave me the K & N customer service number. I called and explained my deal, the faded reciept and the problem. There was no issues at all. They asked for the number off the filter to verify that I had a K & N filter, took my name and address, and put one in the mail for me....no questions asked nor did they even ask for the old filter. Couldnt be more pleased....and no, I dont work for K & N

I've been using K&N products for at least 27 years , and I'm not surprised at your story.
It's still nice to hear good things about quality vendors like K&N.
I have used their stock replacement filters in all my vehicles and my wifes and daughters cars for that long.
This year I became a K&N installer shop (my auto repair shop) because of their products and support for vendors and the public.
Good products , good service , isn't that the way it's suppose to be?
Nice to hear though.

Very few do it anymore though. I am a user of their products and after reading this I will keep buying their products. There is nothing better as a consumer knowing they will back what they sell. I recently called Rush and told them my Right baffle was a pain in the *** to get out of the muffler. The guy tells me they have a new design, asked me what I had and next thing you know a new set of mufflers was on the way to the dealer for me to pick up. All I did was call and ask questions about the packing and told him the trouble I was having. I wasn't complaining just looking for an easier route if it ever happened again. They replaced the mufflers. Told me if it wasn't for guys like us buying the stuff they wouldn't be in business. Kudos to Rush and K&N. Great service.
