Default Opinions...Street Glide

Hey everyone. I am going to look at an 08 Street Glide tomorrow. It is vivid black with 6600 miles on it...Dealership is asking $17,995 for it. It appears to be pretty much stock and in excellent condition...I checked Kelly Blue book and Nada...It looks like 16k-18k is the price they say it goes for...What are thoughts on this? never owned a Harley before, but a long time rider looking to step into something newer, bigger and more comfy and still look sporty...

I really like mine thus far...only had it two months. I will say that it is much heavier than my last bike and that took a little getting use to. Its great for carrying a passenger though...I think you'll like it.

I just picked up a '10 FLHX last month from the local dealer. I absolutely love the bike. I find myself riding much more often than my Dyna.

As far as price, I paid MSRP, but w/o any of the associated fees. ABS, Cruise Control, and Security were also thrown into the deal. The bike had 3 miles on it.

+1 on lookin into a new ride,I paid just over 18 grand new. If its got cams, tuner, jugs and all the works already done, I'd say go for it.

I plan to go in with an offer of 15K....I looked at quite a few ads for something very similar to this and they all ranged from lower 16K to 20K

I own two kawasakis right now...an 86 900 eliminator and an 87 ZL1000. The 1K is very very clean and I have done cosmetic mods to it...the 900 is not as clean and I have done some mechanical things to it and tried to figure out what previous idiots did to it to get it straight...I will probably sell the 900 and keep the 1K...I wanna SG to be my main bike. My girl likes to ride with me and the SG will be a big step up in comfort...I would like to ride until the snow flies....anyway...I will let you know what I end up with...I am just getting back to work full on after having an accident on my 1K...Ended up locking the front brake (mistakenly) when I saw a car that I thought was a cop...I was riding stupid. I hit the pavement around 55 mph and cracked a rib and shattered the small bone in my left lower leg at the ankle joint and completely dislocated my ankle 90 degrees outward...Surgery with a permanent plate and 9 screws...Accident was May 19...I was lucky

Here are my current rides...
